I treated myself to some beautiful Japanese washi paper off ebay and got busy folding some cranes. Makikomo sells some ready to go origami cranes. She must be folding day and night! I also spotted this adorable little ring.

Friday
I fold in half so easily.
I treated myself to some beautiful Japanese washi paper off ebay and got busy folding some cranes. Makikomo sells some ready to go origami cranes. She must be folding day and night! I also spotted this adorable little ring.
Wednesday
I remember not knowing what to say.
I fancied doing a bit of typographic embroidery, so decided on the amazing song I remember by Devendra Banhart. I really enjoyed this, so may embark on a new lyrical embroidery project.
Tuesday
Screen Printing in small spaces.
I finally got my act together and printed up a few tote bags using a screen printing kit i recently bought. I was pleased with the results (amazed that i actually made my image appear on fabric) but i think i would quite like to try out London print studio (with all their lovely equipment) instead of been on my hands and knees in a small room and covered in paint.
Sunday
The day of the decals.
Monday
The big knit 2010.
So far i have managed to knit six little hats for the Innocent drinks Age UK campaign. Might have a go at some stripey ones next.
+ Found a link on It's nice that to these wonderful sessions called Watch Listen Tell and that's exactly what i'm doing. My favourite three are Two door cinema club, Peter and the wolf and Dry the river. Outstanding!

Wednesday
Mumintroll.

My best friend loves Moomin so for her birthday I did some embroidery and also got some wonderful fabric from Skandium which i made into cushion covers (as a few of you wanted to see the finished cushions i did an impromptu cushion shoot tonight kindly modelled by their new owner).
+ I have been really enjoying reading Telegramme online. Inside it i found out about a great flickr group called Out on a limb for all my headless photographs!
+ My friend Sarah just did the most amazing photo shoot involving a giant skull and some derelict buildings using her Diana camera.

Friday
VOGUE + knitting.

I am very excited to see my necklace in print (number 4) in the fancy Vogue knitting magazine! Got my two copies in the post this morning from them!
Monday
Moominvalley.
I took Moomin out for a photo shoot. We made it back to the car just before the rain came down! Phew!
+ I would love to go to Loops: Nordic knit art 2010 this summer in Iceland.
Sunday
Screen Printing Saturday #3

Had to get some Totoro printing finished up, resulting in another tote bag to add to my collection. And again, lots of cameras! My 4 favourites: Polaroid land camera, Diana, Vivitar ultra wide & slim, and my trusty Canon AV-1.
+ ON REPEAT: When i was 12 Dear Eskimo
