I went to the Barbican today to see this installation created by French artist Céleste Boursier-Mougenot, and it was spectacular indeed.
"A walk-through aviary for a flock of zebra finches, furnished with electric guitars and other instruments and objects. As the birds go about their routine activities, perching on or feeding from the various pieces of equipment, they create a captivating, live soundscape".
They kept landing on our feet and i was a bit scared they might accidentally get squashed, but no casualties thankfully.
