Mormors.
This was one of my favourite places in Copenhagen. An enchanting little tea shop which just happened to be 5 mins from our hotel. I read that Mormors is Danish for your grandmother on your mothers side. We just referred to it as Grandmas. They serve the most amazing cakes, our favourite was the kiksekage (biscuit cake) which was heaven! The club sandwiches were also pretty spectacular. Accompanied by a tall glass of rooibos vanilla tea made for the perfect afternoon treat.
+ I only found out about Mormors the night before my trip over at Spotted by locals. Such a wonderful resource for all the best places to head to in Copenhagen. Unfortunately we ran out of time to try more of their recommendations.

ReplyDeleteyour photos are beautiful I could look at them all day. Suddenly, I have a craving for international pastries- they seem sweeter than their american versions or am I imagining it?
