Fatboy's Diner.
Thomas and I went on a hunt for an authentic American diner in London. First on the list was Fatboys Diner which is in the most bizarre location (we had to get the DLR to East India and then follow the signs on the pavement and the fences that led us across a roundabout, to its home by the river in Trinity buoy wharf). We enjoyed some chips and onion rings once settled in our booth. Next on the list is Starvin Marvins!

I've checked it out and found that it's soooo difficult to get this film in Poland! anyway, it's great and I totally love you photos :)
ReplyDeleteWow, great idea! :)
ReplyDeleteI live pretty near Starivin Marvin's, but last went there a few years go (darn diet I went on for my wedding)- it's had its ups and downs over the years, I guess it depends on the chef!
Are you going to review any central London ones?
Great photos, what a random place to have a diner! It looks amazing though, very authentic!
ReplyDeleteThat place looks like it could be anywhere in America. I hope the food was decent!
ReplyDeleteYum - and it looks like an amazing, and somewhat adventurous location.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos! :)
This place looks amazing.
ReplyDeletePerdita: I'm still compiling a list of diners to visit so reviews to come I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteRachel: Food wasn't presented very authentically. Was a bit more like a greasy spoon :) but it was still special there!
ooooh that looks lovely. might hafta make a trip there one day... starvin marvins is very near to my house! maybe we could go together? xxx
ReplyDeletesuch eclectic style, it looks fabulous. love that last shot.
ReplyDeleteHow funny that you guys are exploring American diners. These are a rarity, even in America. Hope the food was tasty.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from NYC so going to be following your attempts to find an authentic American diner earnestly!
ReplyDeleteI like your choices for tasting the food at the diner! I might have added a chocolate or strawberry shake to go along with it!
