So far this week #111

UntitledI really wasn't expecting much from Nativity but it was actually extremely enjoyable, The Railway Children was a film I had never seen in full but I thought it was marvellous, McCullin was a fascinating documentary that really moved me, Lord of the Rings: The fellowship of the ring is such a good one to watch over the Christmas period when the shops are shut, Where do we go now? really didn't keep my attention and Bedknobs and Broomsticks never fails to get me singing along - I love it so much!

  1. i think i like the idea of bedknobs and broomsticks better than the reality. i watched it a few years back and was really disappointed! i wonder if it would be different if i watched it now!

    1. I first saw it when I was really young and thought it was so magical and exciting! It's so familiar to me now - maybe appreciation of this film depends on how old you were when you first saw it. I made my boyfriend watch it this year for the first time and I don't think he was having as much fun as me :)

  4. I love The Railway Children - I used to have an illustrated book of it when I was younger and the film really did (my imagined) Roberta justice :)
