His Master's Voice.

A friend of mine recently inherited quite a few gramophones (I think it was 9 in total) and I went round for a listen and to marvel at how absolutely beautiful they all are. I thought the tins for the needles were also amazing.

  3. That is so awesome! The pictures are so lovely! Also, I thought the last picture was a butter packet, and was pleasantly surprised-- So far I've never seen a record player or a gramophone in real life, but I want to SO bad!

  4. Lovely! My grandmother's record player is waiting for me for when I move into my own place! I can't wait to have my own space sans roommates so I can play records! Very jealous at the moment. :)

  9. Lovely, Kate! Especially the little tins.
The sunday flea market I haunt has a chap who sells gramophones, he plays records to show they work and it makes for a lovely soundtrack to my sunday thrift.
