Browsing antique shops in Hampton court, a trip to the wonderful Ray-Stitch with my friend Kat where we got to eye up the most beautiful haberdashery whilst enjoying croissants and hot chocolate, a graduation ceremony followed by lunch at Maitreya Social in Bristol which included an incredibly mind blowing vegan baklava dessert.

YES YES YES to Baklava, Vintage and Craft shopping!
ReplyDeleteDo you like the Uppercase magazines?
I'm quite taken with them but they cost $29each here. EEEk!
So its newsagency browsing often.
I've never read Uppercase but my friend told me how much she had to pay for it and I was in shock! So definitely will just be browsing it also!
DeleteIt is a great mag so definitely worth the look!
DeleteThe Hampton court emporium?! I could spend hours in there!
ReplyDeleteOh yes. So great in there!
DeleteOooohhh I've been wanting to visit Ray Stitch for a while now but I have a feeling the beautiful fabrics won't be good for my bank balance, maybe when I get paid :) x
ReplyDeleteRay-Stitch is possibly my dream shop! I had been meaning to go for so long and it was better than I had expected! I would love to do a sewing class there!
Deletethose bottles are perfect!! I would love to join you on that exciting trip =)
ReplyDeleteIf you're ever in the area let me know :)
DeleteAfter thinking for years that I didn't like baklava, a chance encounter with the sugary treat now has me OBSESSED. When I do let myself buy some, it gets scoffed so quickly (pretty much a piece with every cup of tea!) that I just can't have it in the house. Lovely stuff though.
ReplyDeleteIn Bristol there is the best Turkish patisserie called Bristanbul and their Baklava is amazing (I am also a Baklava addict).
DeleteI've heard so many good things about Maitreya but I've yet to go there - it needs to be next on my list :)
ReplyDeleteIt's really great there - especially the puddings!
